Solve the equation shown below following the steps outlined in the Justification.  Check to see which are actual solutions. No further justification is needed.
 

STATEMENT JUSTIFICATION
 (X + 2)4/3 - 7 = 9

 

Given

Add 7 to both sides using Addition Property of Equality

Raise both sides to the 3/4 power using the property

Evaluate Radical
