Justify each step below where the equation  4|2x + 1| + 3 = 9 is solved with solution x = 1/4 or x=-5/4.

STATEMENT JUSTIFICATION
4|2x + 1| + 3 = 9

4|2x + 1|  = 6

|2x + 1|  = 6/4

2x + 1  = 6/4  OR  2x + 1 = -6/4

2x  = 1/2  OR  2x  = -10/4

x = 1/4  OR x = -5/4
