Linear Inequalities - Exercise 1

Find the critical numbers of the inequality given below by solving 3x - 4(x - 1) =  1. Then test intervals to find the solution interval or intervals. The Justification has been given - No further justification is needed.
 

STATEMENT JUSTIFICATION
3x - 4(x - 1) <  1

Use Distributive Property, Add Like Terms,
Addition & Division Properties of Equality to solve and find critical number.
